The 2010 Official ATK Best Band Poll Series - ON HOLD - Overview

Guidelines

1. When posting the poll, I will use the video from the initial nominaton. If one hasn't been provided, then I will select one. If the person who nominated the band in question objects to that song, then they and only they can provide me with a new one for the initial post.
2. In the thread itself, anyone can post any other video (live or recorded) directly linking to either of the two contenders under poll. Unlike with the DWPS, I encourage gratuitious swearing and abuse, but please refrain from posting videos depicting nudity and porn (specifically looking at Rammstrain with this one...)
3. Polls will last for a determined period of time at the start of each round or end early if there is a significant majority for one nomination over the other. This duration can be found in the schedule below
4. The polls currently under contest will be sticked. Results will be posted in this thread after the conclusion of the poll.
5. In the event of a tie in the first round, the poll will be extended until a vote is cast that breaks the tie. In the event of a tie in the second round and beyond, the winner of the poll will be the nomination with the higher cumulative margin of victory for previous polls [For example, A wins by 2 and 5 in the first two rounds, and B wins by 1 and 7. A and B tie on their poll, thus B (with a +8) beats A (+7)]
6. All polls will be public.
7. Whilst I can't force you to, I would prefer it if you listened to at least three songs of each artist before voting. Someone on here said one song get you the full flavour of the band, and they are absolutly right. Three won't get you the full picture either, but you getting pretty close with three.
