Changed a few numbers to 1920 using operas inspect and debug feature and managed to make it do this pretty easily (tho i cant remember exactly what i changed).

If the background image didn't have the blue strip in the middle and there was a way of forcing this sjut for me id be very happy with it...

You still have all the excess space, it's just in the middle of the page and not on the outsides.

Seriously Mitch, I don't see why you'd want the site to look like that, it looks shit because of all the extra space in the shoutbox and content will just be harder to read because it's above the edges of the background...

Zooming in wrecks the site and makes it unusable, it must be possible for a forum option for widescreen I dont want the debate about it, its a fact people want it for many different reasons and was discussed at length eventually producing that option on many forums I visit.

Its jsut my personal prefereance. i thiinkit looks great like that apart from the blue box which id be happy if wasnt there.

I am, i jsut have an opera 9 skin, coz i like it better.
