Half Life 3 would be great, combine it with Portal 2 to make the Yellow/Green/Purple/Blue/Whatever Box and it'd be ten times awesome.

It's not going to be another L4D, because that would make people hate them, and it's not another Portal because they said it's not Portal. If that email is true, it's not Ep3, that leaves us with HL3 or some completely new game.

They've had so long, and they haven't been working on anything else the past year, it just makes so much sense that it's HL3.

Why announce HL3 when we've had nothing on Ep. 3 yet. They did say around the beginning of Ep. 1 that they were treating the three episodes as HL3, at least in nature if not by name. It would seem odd to me if it was HL3 - my guess is a massive mind clusterfuck and it's Portal 2 and Ep.3.
