That close combat city map looks awesome. I wonder if this is built on the frostbite engine and has the same destructibility.

Also, beta from June 21 . That's nice and soon. Any ideas how we apply?

According the the Wiki page, it uses Frostbite for MP and Unreal for SP. Seems like an odd move, because the two modes will feel completely different. Doesn't bother me at all though.

In regards to the beta,

Reportedly, Medal Of Honor Beta is all scheduled to launch on June 17th on a pre-order basis.

That link also describes the new Gun Club, which is probably an extension of achievements which will make people buy more EA games to unlock stuff.

The Medal of Honor multiplayer beta will launch June 21 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Beta codes will be distributed by retailers to pre-purchasers of the game. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 "VIP" members (anyone who bought the game new or bought VIP access) who have also pre-ordered Medal of Honor will receive early access to the beta, beginning this Thursday, June 17.

Looks like you play as mercenaries rather than normal soldiers which is kewl, and it's actually set in Afghanistan which doesn't seem to have been done before much in shooters. And a beta that soon? I'm listening now...

I think one side is meant to be special forces, not mercenaries.

Edit: And also, it looks exactly like MW2 only with tanks.

Well there's a guy wearing a baseball cap on the cover, and I usually assume baseball cap = mercenary But yeah it does look very similar to MW2.

Looks pretty awesome, the weapon system luks like an improvement over BC2, more MW2 style could be good, although you can't really tell till you play Is there proper dedi server support or they using the same system for BC2?
