    Warhammer 40K Online

Let's do the same thing we did for Warhammer Online a few years ago! But yeah, there's a 40K MMO coming some time in 2011/2012 (guessing).

    Trailer:

Now this I would play. I'd probably roll a Space Marine or Necron, although I doubt the latter would be available. It will be interesting how they justify the lore of Marines going solo.

Well in the lore a group of about 10 marines can take on an army. So it wouldn't be so too odd that a single marine could take on a small patrol.

this could be interesting, quite like the 40k games, hopefully there will be a beta/demo for us to try out so we can make sure it doesn't fail as hard as lord of the rings online

    Shame it'll be p2p.

(also, if you could play Tyranids, would be awesome, but bar that, Tau ftw.)

Imperial Guard all the way - I saw them in the trailer, but to make it balanced one player would have to control like 5 Guardsmen, so I'm sceptical about whether they'll be playable or just NPCs.

Most likely gonna be Space Marines, Chaos, and Orkz. Don't see how they could balance Tyranids as you'd need 10 Tyranids to kill a Space Marine, unless every Tyranid was a Carnifex or something. Tau is too uncommon.

Tyranids would be the summoner race, like, when you get into combat you'd spawn in a horde, like 7 to every enemy within a certain radius.

*sigh*, No one loves the Tyranids v_v

I can imagine the newbie missions for the Marines being the work up from the scout unit until you earn the power armour
