You can, of course, bite me oric. I don't want to be lumped on to the end and left out. Considering it's a social event, that's a quibble with a good reason.

Everyone drinks - we require 8 pints of water a day to maintain a healthy standard of living, and being closer of the bar gives you more time gaming.

And you won't always be sat down - you'll be camp loling and the like, along with the people beside you, in front of you and behind you when you are gaming. The trick is to sit next to someone you get on with really well and go from there. Piers has sat at the end for the last couple that I was there, and I never heard any complaints of anti-socialism from him.
