That's fine Oric, don't know why you needed to be quite so grumpy about it though . Let me remind you all that this review part of ATK is not going to be an easy ride. All reviewers will have deadlines to meet and it must be to a very high quality. I think we'll even go the route of having everything proof-read to begin with.

Obviously if it all pays off then ATK will benefit hugely in terms of activity, but I hope you're all dedicated to this idea as much as I am.

Tonight I hope to get started on the new site. I'm currently very up in the air with the name. It NEEDS to be part of ATK as we are the community behind it, but I don't want a rubbish name. I'm sure I'll think of something that fits the bill.

My opinion - I quite like TheATKReport as a name, because it's our report on items we review/test. Don't know why I like it, but it just personally sounds best to me. I can just imagine "Welcome to another edition of TheATKReport, this week/month/time (delete as appropriate) we are reviewing/testing/looking at _______"

And as for what we're reviewing/testing, I think we should mainly focus on PC related things for now, until we have more of a rep for it, then we can move onto different things. So, stuff like PC hardware, peripherals (speakers, mice, keyboards etc), accessories (laptop cases and stuff like that).

Something I think we'll have over other review sites is that we will give a genuine, honest opinion that people will understand as it will be delivered by average (in some cases XD) people who are not experts and start talking about the really technical stuff. Doesn't mean we can't add bits like that in as well as (bit of extra information sort-of-thing).

Anyway... Let's get this sorted 'cos I'm really looking forward to starting this out!

Oh, ordered DSLR last night and also found out about what I have access to at school; studio lights and a studio DSLR (can't remember the name but it was a Canon, pretty large, would say 5D but that's too expensive for the school) along with a rather large assortment of lenses. So any photos that need to be done of products, I've pretty much got it covered

Just had a sudden brainwave, how about we call the review site 'The ATK Magazine' or 'The ATK Mag' for example? I thought this might be a good idea since other sites sort of are designed to look like newspapers or magazines, such as The First Person Observer.

our mascot can be the soldier saying CUH-RIT. Thats the only reason why..

I haven't forgotten about this, but am still thinking about names. It needs to have ATK in, and sound as good as it can. ATKCrits sounds cool, but google won't like it... so yeah.

I should come to a decision soonish as I want to get this started before uni. Any more ideas from you lot would be awesome though!

EDIT: Just saw your post chaz, but I think that's if we try to go down that road, then we'll start having to post stuff like news as well. We can't take too much on if we want to be good at the reviewing.
