PS3 as chalex said cheapest blu ray player + better grafix on a decent tv and hd cable. Xbox probably better for online but you have to pay for it, ps3 you can just plug in and use. Both consoles have pretty much the same games, apart from the obv like halo. Always preferred the ps controllers aswell, where always a lot smaller which made button pressing easier.
