The last one would be awesome if the focus was on the glasses lenses, though I'm guessing as it's ancient its all MF? Love the shallow DOF you get from 35mm and full-frame.

I was gutted with the glasses, the idea was to focus through the lenses.

Looks proper grainy 'cause I was using 3200 ISO film.

Ahh, that's the one big downside to film, don't know if you've got the shot until after it's all developed. Nowt wrong with grain, just really shows that it was a film shot, which quite a lot of ppl on Flickr seem to get a boner over.

Was a little bored this evening, so had a go with a single strobe + shoot through umbrella (and a reflector, although don't think I used it for this shot). Yes, we did have very little of interest in the cupboards.

Not sure whether I like the catch-light from the umbrella or not.

School hosted a charity 5 a side match beating the world record for the longest game (they got 37.5 hours) so was covering that. Action shots still being edited, so just a quick arty one shot with a mates new 50mm f/1.4 .

First try at this, we're definitely going back later in the week and actually planning this stuff instead of off the cuff like this was.

The car looks awesome (for a golf) but what actually are the white linely things, and how do they fit in the photo?

Cheers. The lines were a strobing LED torch being waved about, mainly there as we got bored simply painting the car, so wanted to make it a bit more interesting and get some decent reflections in the car. Plus I needed something random to fit in with the theme "Mystery and Imagination" for exam work.

We're doing again later in the week with a few other cars (hopefully without the shopping trolleys in the background) so anything you think might work better than the random lights?

And tonight it looks like a fire engine will be the subject
