Tell you what, you come London for a day and I'll help you focus on people, then I'll come to the farm and you help me focus on places .

Tried to do some Bokeh last weekend but it completely failed lol.

Since I noticed that I have coincidentally in the last couple of years made an autumn-themed photo edit of a fence post and a winter-themed one, I thought I'd make a spring one:

    Re: The Photography Thread!

This was the definition of a nightmare shoot, the band were a bit merh when it came to listening, flash starting blinking at me to say low battery, light was non existent inside the building so I was relying on phone lights to composure the shot (didn't fancy wasting battery using the flashes modelling light) and the AF assist beam was a bit hit and miss. Oh, and one of the guitarists really didn't want to be there. Oh, this involved a bit more in the way of "pyrotechnics" than I'm used too as well lol.

Luckily, they liked the result and I was able to PP them in a way that makes the slightly missed focus (dam light) look reasonable. Life would be so much easier with the 7D, a few more 580 EX II's and some umbrellas lol.

Was the black guy the guitarist? He looks pissed off.

Nice photos anyway. Nice PP, works well with the backdrop.

Cal - Nah, the black guy is the bassist, the one who looks like a farmer (checkered shirt) was the guitarist. Thanks for the comments.

I take offence to that, he looks like a faggot.
