Been getting into photography and a mate needed some pics done for art coursework, so I gave a hand then had a shot at PP'ing them.

Stuff from my DeviantART, most of it's fairly old... done with a standard digital camera not an SLR, with loads of editing of course:

There was a program on 5 the other day with Suzie Perry about sports photography was actually really good, gave you some good tips for taking pics, think there is a whole series of them, might be worth having a look
Yeah, heard about that Target but never caught it, may have to do some hunting to see if I can find it anywhere.
Chaz - nice results, have you got a certain procedure you do for each photo or you just take it as it comes for each one?
All I do really is create adjustment layers (gradient maps mostly) and muck about with the blending modes of them. Also I tend to create a sort of lens blur and saturation vignettes, as well as normal ones where it gets darker towards the edge.Originally Posted by VoX

Target - Did some research into the Channel 5 show and it basically seemed like it was dumbed down massively, although general consensus is that the expert who did the sports one went into a lot more detail so will have a look for that one.
Mitch - Well he does have a bit more experience, and yes I do.
Oh, and cause I could only really Photoshop yesterday while WoW was DLing, had a go at pissing about with brush dynamics, rushed the body a bit and technique needs work but I kinda like it.

Shot from today, have to photograph "autumn" which is kinda hard when quite a few trees are still green.
Went to Paris for a weekend, more to come, just some initial edits. (Light was pretty poo, hence the BW)

Lol! He did drop the ball once throughout the time we were watching him, was quite lol to watch it bounce down the bank leading up to the Sacré-Coeur
