They're saying it isn't id tech 5, which is odd, because why else would Zenimax buy id if not for their amazing engine.

Either way I'm excited by the idea of another TES game, even if it's in the most boring province imaginable yet.

I just hope that Skyrim feels more alive, Cyrodiil felt really..... scripted and dead to me. Maybe it was the lack of people walking around (They cut bustling cities out because of sub-standard hardware at the time). But my gods this looks like it may well be good.
