Today I went on an escapade with my trusty aides Ki and Jenny to the Blue Reef Aquariu...... I mean Pokemon Gym in Tynemouth!
After a long battle to photograph every interesting fish and animal, the final duel with the seals commenced....
How did I fare I hear you ask?.... You'll have to read on to find out
First up we have the WINturtles
Then after defeating these with ease, we moved on to "Capture" the large Piranha!
This one even had a massive light shining out of the top of it!
And here is stealth Piranha
Then we had the mini-catfish things. Jenny liked these
Next, somebody went under a dock.... and there they saw a rock..... it wasnt a rock.... it was a ROCK LOBSTER!
In this one it was summoning an amazing Solar Beam attack.... pretty surprising for a water pokemon!
Then! in the same tank, Staryu popped out and tried to use flail (it failed)
After braving Staryu and the Solarbeam which we skillfully dodged, we found some Flatfish or something
Oh, and a blue lobster too.
In the next tank we approached our first mini boss, haven't spent a few minutes assessing tactics we moved in. We found it to be somewhat related to Steve Irwin
Swimming with this mass were some small fish
and then there was.....
SINISTER FISH!
After defeating the likes of the Ray and SINISTER FISH, we moved on to find STEALTH FISH!
So sneaky I almost didnt notice!
After the trauma of the pipe we moved to a less scary tank, we were met by several miniature Horsea!
This one tried to hide from me
In the neighboring tank was LASER EYE!
Followed by 2 old, long laser eyes :P
And suddenly staryu came back to have some!
Next we found some little pipe fish things
At this point we realised we had cleared Phase 1.... but what was next in Phase2!?!
OTTERS!!!!
This encounter required alot of stamina to survive the smell attack they unleashed but again we prevailed.
We moved on back into the depths of the world of Disney Pixar...
Oh look, theres Dory
AND I FOUND NEMO!
And here are his friends
Suddenly the mood shifted to the rainforest and we had stealth frogs which we failed to find and some locusts (which Jenny loved)
Also we found a WIN Chameleon
And a wasp striped lizard
Suddenly there was a giant silver fish attack!
Then there were a few little monkeys
And then there was another angry fish :P
And sneaky puffer fish came out to play
Then the giant ray came in for a dive bomb attack on Ki!
Then some long thin fish came in
Oh and there were some shrimpy things...
And mini-shark
We then got to the final encounter......
What is it.....
Somethings swimming this way!
SEALS!?!
Happy seal was happy that we won the battle to photograph them (as they were bloody hard)
After completing the gym and defeating the Seals Jenny Burbeck awarded me with a Turtle badge!
Which I obviously had to celebrate in true Pokemon manner(see full size for more lolz)
