I have been using some great open source software to model stuff. Look at my first attempt:
The software is called Blender and i've been using tutorials at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3_Noob_to_Pro
I hope to get good enough to work on a mod. It's really easy even Vox could do it.. it's basically like using hammer except without all the scripting for games.
Nice one Hutch, could end up making some decent models, not sure though if we would get as far as skinning them and managing to use them in game.
