Angry Catalyst Control Centre: Monitoring program has stopped working

So, I'm getting this pop up...

I've installed the latest drivers from the ATI website (Literally JUST now) and it still comes up...

I'm getting fed up with the ATI drivers messing up... Any suggestions as to what I could do to sort this out, as my knowledge doesn't go much further than installing the latest drivers...

It's for my laptop (Acer Aspire 5740G. Card in question is a ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470)

    Thanks.

You have to install .net framework.

The monitoring program does nothing important either you driver is installed and working if you've got to that stage.

Well, installing the newest Catalyst Control Centre didn't solve anything - it actually made it worse!

I didn't have time to so I'll try that now.

EDIT: Installed .NET framework. Still comes up. I also get an error saying "Command Line Interface has stopped working"
