I do think they have cleaned up there act, but vista x64 couldnt run 3+gb of ram full stop until may.
im running x64 with 4gb ultimate and its purrrrrfect, and also winxpx64 doesnt find my drivers and mannual ones dont work.
just a little too cpu hungry but with the phenom being 100-200 vista really is getting viable now.
just remeber to cut down those services.
