That case actually looks awesome. That system looks awesome, it would beat a Q6600 in single threaded tasks (that is assuming that they would both stay at their standard clock-speeds.)

Well we built it at Chalex's in about 2 hours and luckily with nothing going wrong, I'll post images of us building it later as well photos from the ATK t-shirt photoshoot we did.

    Bumpy!

Right, let's kick this off with the specification:

    • Asus P5Q Deluxe
    • Intel Q6700
    • Corsair Dominator 1066Mhz DDR2
    • Antec 900-2 Case
    • Samsung SH-220 (Or something) Optical Drive
    • Samsing Spinpoint F1 1TB
    • Sansung Spinpoint F1 320GB
    • Point Of View GTX 280
    • Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme CPU Cooler
    • Scythe S-Flex 1600RPM Fan
    • Corsair TX 650W PSU
    • Logitech G15
    • Logitech G5
    • Samsung T240 24" Widescreen Monitor

(If it's in Bold, it has arrived and I have pictures )

Right, OCUK have messed up my order a few times, so it should be expected (for the 4th time) this Wednesday, so expect the full building to commence then. All the other stuff was bought from Scan and Amazon.

(Sorry for bad pictures, my phone has a pretty crap camera that only works well in good daylight.)

The new Antec 900-2 Case, it's basically the 900 with some aesthetic changes and dust filters.

I also found out that the box could house another thing, me! (Note the feet poking out of the bottom.)

The motherboard tht this build will be based around; the Asus P5Q Deluxe, plus the Logitech G5 mouse.

The Mobo itself (it hasn't come out of the anti-static bag yet.)

This is the Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme (TRUE) CPU cooler, this should allow me to push the Q6700 near the 3.6Ghz mark with ease, providing I get a good chip.

That's all for now, the next lot of pics should include the comp fully built and expect those Wednesday/Thursday.

Yes it can DK, and I get Mirrors Edge, FarCry 2 and Battleforge (2?) free as they fucked up the delivery.

The only camera we've got in this household is a cheap webcam which barely can differ black from white so I can't get an own pic of my chassi. :/ Well, well, this is it:

Looks quite tacky I guess. xD

It's too hot in here to have the side closed, this room is like 3x2.5 m^2. I just put it there for the photo shoot for aesthetic reasons.

    Re: **The PC Cases Gallery**

    Funky case.

I'll grab some pics of my new build soon and shove them up here, Antec 900-2 ftw!

    EDIT: Here they be!

Note that the RAM is in single channel as the MB throws a fuss if it's in dual channel, and the cables are as managed as I can be bothered to do, but when the Gcard sits and 70C full load and the CPU doesn't break 46 or so doing the Intel burn-in test, I think that it's not needed (Oh, that's with chassis fans set to low as well .) I idle with the lowest Core at 26C and highest at 33C . I love the TRUE!

Note that the router is above the table, it overheats if it sits directly on it, so I made use of the 1366 Bracket I got with the TRUE .

Specs for the build are under my name.
