    FS: QX6850 CPU & Antec Sonata Designer Quiet Case

    Here are a few items that I have up for sale, if you are not interested then please don't waste my time.

    Intel QX6850 CPU 3GHz - Retail

    This is a brand new, unopened, Intel sealed retail CPU that includes the stock heatsink and fan and all of the relevant documents including warranty and case stickers. One of these processors recently sold for £400 + P&P on Ebay so that is what I am after here. These processors are sold usually around the £600 mark.
    Price = £400 + P&P

    I have included some pictures I took below, click to enlarge:

    Antec Sonata Designer Quiet Case including an Antec EarthWatts 500W PSU

    This case was on show at i33, so has been opened but never used to house PC components. It comes with a PSU and retails on Overclockers for about £90 inc. VAT.
    Price = £50 + P&P

    I have included some pictures I took below, click to enlarge:

    I am willing for them to be picked up since that is easier for me and you. I live in Oxfordshire, about 20 minutes from Oxford. If you are interested, I will provide my postcode. If you live further away, I am willing to sort out a meeting point.

    Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions. I would prefer to sell them here than on Ebay.

    I do not mind if you want both, or just one of the items. I am willing to do a deal if you want both of the items.

    May be interested in the case, how powerful is the PSU?

    Is the money going towards the community, where it should be going - e.g spent on community events at i34, servers that actually work without lag or stupidly long change map times etc.

    I have already lost lots of money by giving to the Community, and am always willing to provide extra money when it is really needed. But since I won these items, the money received will go straight into my pocket. We are also coping fine at the moment with subscriptions, so all is well .

    Please don't argue, I hardly believe that if you won £600+ worth of equipment you would give all the money to the Community.

    if you are not interested then please don't waste my time.

    Lol that's the exact reason why it shouldn't go in your pocket. Money you earn should go in your pocket.

    Lol Chazlene, let me know if you want it so that I can stop others bidding on it on some other sites I posted on.

    Remember that once you have said you want it, I will need the money from you ASAP (before term starts). So, if you want to wait until tomorrow to say for sure then that is fine. Since you live so close though you could just give me the money when you pick it up.

    Well I won't buy it now, since I don't have enough money, and I don't want to have to start bidding for it with someone else. Sell it to them if you want to sell now rather than to me later.

    Ok, he should reply to my PM soon so I will know if he definitely wants it. If not, I will let you know.

    As for the CPU, if I get no-one contacts me about it by 6pm tomorrow, I will be putting it on Ebay. One guy just sold his for £510, so if you want a deal, let me know ASAP!!

    Right, the guy who was going to buy the case has pulled out so it is yours! When do you think you will have the money so I can give it to you? Before the beginning of term would be best, as it is way too heavy to bring to school and as soon as term begins, things just get way too busy.

    eeerh, well I don't really want it now since I don't have enough money to build a new PC yet, so I don't want to have to spend £50 now and have the case sitting around for several weeks, because I might not even need since my current case and PSU might be good enough. Is it too much to ask if we do it over summer half-term when I'll know if it's worth buying it or not?

    Just as you don't want it sitting around, nor do I. I could easily get £50 for this case on Ebay, probably more, so I am going to stick it on there instead as soon as I have worked out the P&P cost. I really need the money now you see, since I am about to order a £400 monitor .

    As for your current PC case and PSU, you could use them, but I always like the idea of a fresh start, which also means that you have a spare PC . If you do decide you want this case, you will be spending about £95 to get it to your door from a store like Overclockers unless you change your mind.

    I won't bother with it, I think my current PSU is 500W anyway, and my case looks better. :P

    No you don't, you really WANT the money, you have no idea how much I want to punch you between the eyes... maybe try earning some money for once rather than buying all your fancy computer gear with prize and birthday/Christmas money.

    Ok, keeping your stuff sounds good.

    Not too sure why everyone always gets so stressed when someone wins something?! Everyone that went to i31 with me won something, except me. I didn't want to hit you all between the eyes lol since I knew that's what happens at these events. Anyway, it is better that you won stuff rather than someone I didn't know.

    I didn't even *win* this processor, I had to guess the amount of eggs in the case. I was definitely lucky, but it was not winning with zero effort. Anyway, a new monitor would be much more useful that a new CPU in my situation, so that's what I am spending the money on. My new PC was actually saved up for about 2 years, and I did a large amount of work in the pub to get that money.

    Thread is now closed because of people just being nasty. If you genuinely want an item, PM me.

    EDIT: Don't lose all hope Chazlene, this is the first time I have won anything and it was at my 3rd i-series event. You have only been to 1 remember!!
