hmm theres an easy way to fix that , just restrict the awp/auto etc so that way peeps can use them in game, but cant use them once the rounds over. I also think a few servers have a anti spawn-kill mod which slays the person if they attack any1 in the first 10 secs or sumthing?
Theres an ass on the surf server now, spawn killing every time he bags an awp.
hmm all i can suggest is ever pming chalex about it if hes on, or use the "votekick" function on the server to kick him...
hopefully this issue should be sorted out soon though
Ive asked hundreds of times for a ban on AWP purchasing on the Surf Servers which basically just strips the AWP at respawn but allows a pickup on the map.
I can turn this on but it turns off after every map rechange.
cant u just sort that out with the anti-spawn kill mod? i think it maybe a mattey event script but im not to sure , ill try finding a link ect later

if you remowe the rifles its just to spawn kill with the deagle.. :D
Yeah not many people are clever enough to pick up a deagle. More people will try with an awp.

I remember good ol Morpheous' servers ( bless his lil soul) where spawn attacking would result in instant death.

i feel that this will be the best bet in tackling the spawning killing issues as although restricting the riffles has caused a dramatically decline in the amount of cases , its still possibles to spawn kill with the standard weapons as demonstrated by VeNom.

Nice find The Witch, this probably would work if we put it on the Surf server. (Or we could just not play silly maps like greatest river where you can shoot into the other spawn area).
If somewone Spawnkill, we ban them for 15 min?

1 Dont cheating
2 Dont spawnkill

by the way you can still buy restricted weapons by typing buy weapon_awp in console while in a buy zone.... so you know :)

I think it is just a fact about the game we have to live with, the anti spawnkill script could only be used on certain maps.. occaisionally the server is on scoutsknivez and then a spawnkill is more a duel between two people right at the start.
Right, I have added a different spawn kill script that protects you for 5 seconds and if you attack someone, it does not damage them and slays you!

I normally;
1st SK: Warning & slay
2nd SK: 2nd Warning & kick
3rd SK: Ban, time varies, between 1 hour and perm.
I may seem strict but I give plenty of warnings. NEARLY every round.
That's not necessary anymore.
It slays if someone even tries to spawnkill and everyone is protected by being given 9999 health at start of each round for 5 secs.
